A Parametrical Study on Convective Heat Transfer between High-Temperature Gas and Regenerative Cooling Panel

Thermal protection is still one of the key challenges for successful scramjet operations. In this study, three-dimensional coupled heat transfer between high-temperature gas and regenerative cooling panel with kerosene supercritical pressure flowing in channels was numerically investigated to reveal fundamental characteristics as well its influencing factors. The SST k-ω turbulence model low-Reynolds-number correction provided by pressure-based solver Fluent 19.2 adopted simulation. It found that flux heated surface order 106 W/m2, it declines along flow direction due development boundary layer. Compared cocurrent flow, temperature peak counter much higher. both rises static total gas. increases mass rate kerosene, hardly changes kerosene. Results herein could help understand real process guide design thermal systems.
